M.I.T graduate, mechanical engineer and Cinetics founder Justin Jensen had the great idea to create CineSkates, a set of three wheels that you can plug to a GorillaPod Focus tripod and allows you to obtain fluid movements when going for a challenging angle.
The product is not yet available, but that’s actually a great news, because Jensen launched a Kickstarter campaign couple of days ago where you can receive the three wheels for a $150 pledge, instead of the $200 price set once the campaign is over. (There’s more options on his Kickstarter campaign page)
Jensen was hoping to get $20,000 in total to launch his product, he got $50,000 the first day and has now $108,000. There are 48 days to go, so the numbers might skyrocket, unless they decide to close it earlier due to overwhelming demand.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to back-up this campaign, and my green already went somewhere else, but I’m looking forward to holding one of those and testing it out.
Seeing the enthusiasm it generated, we should get ready to see a lot of ‘CineSkates move‘.
