Best of The Tweets #6
Tweets cover from 09/18 to 09/25
BEST OF THE EMMYS TWEETS
1-Modern Family writer Danny Zuker did the right thing. The show won Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series.
2-Blondediva11 is a blonde with the humble bio I enjoy breathing. She often has a point and I agree, Fox News got robbed.
4- Stand-Up, Actor, HostAresnio Hall spread the good work of Kempsaidwhat and I am following the movement. Since the short lived and bad quality Undercovers from J.J. Abrams on NBC, the Network hasn’t offered a replacement. And I’m not even talking about other communities.
5- Downton Abbey is one of the few nominations that pleased me 100% and got what it deserved, so I’m happy to share TV Columnist Jace Lacob graceful tweet . If you still haven’t watched Outstanding Miniseries winner Downton Abbey, it’s not too late. Penned by Gosford Park screenwriter Julian Fellowes, the series just started its second season.
BEST OF NETFLIX/QWIKSTER TWEETS
1- Yes, I just introduced you to 2degreesofalie the category before, but this is gold. You all remember Reed Hastings casual way to announce that Netflix was to become two companies, Netflix for streaming videos and Qwikster for DVDs, right? (otherwise, click here). Well, turns out that Jason Castillo already created a twitter account named Qwikster and the lad got thousands of followers overnight who mistook his account for the company one. Read a tiny bit more on the link shared by Flierl: Jason Castillo (@Qwikster on Twitter) Finally Realizes What’s Going On
3- Meantime successfully crowd-funded Koo shares about those who don’t bash but act. Surely the 50% downfall is what pushed my buddy Reed to change strategy, but from the comments received here, I’m guessing things are still chaotic at Netflix’s headquarters.
BEST OF THE TV SEASON TWEETS
1- Screenwriter Justin Marks has a good point. Seems like all the buzz post-Ashton Kutcher cast paid back.
3- Sons of Anarchy fourth season started with a short hair Charlie Hunnam and, I’m assuming, show fan Alexandra Arkoian didn’t miss the opportunity to bash Abram’s Felicity who supposedly lost ratings when its eponymous main character cut her hair short.
4 and 5- Bonnie Burton and Felicia Day complain about the low quality of the new TV Shows out this season. As I said, I haven’t yet had the time to watch any new show, but what do you think? What have you liked so far? Should we pledge for Burton’s new network (I love the idea Ms Burton!)?
OTHER BEST OF THE TWEETS
Here are the last five best of the tweets of this week:
1- Writer/Director Jim Field Smith got an experience that only Apple can offer today:
2- DP Matthew Libatique show us how to behave professionally on set for a successful relationship with your colleagues, in his case with script-supervisor Trudy Ramirez (who has impressive resume) on Cowboys and Aliens set (if I’m not mistaken):
3- Neil Gaiman doesn’t only work with HBO on American Gods adaptation, pen Journey to the West scripts and launch Kickstarter campaign for his music project. He also has a cameo in a coming Simpsons episode (see his new profile picture) and shares spoilers. Who wants his life?(me)
