11.11.11 turned out to be an intense day for MTS followers, in addition to Barcelone, two more clues were sent, one of them being a big square prize.
SAN FRANCISCO
The picture above was the first clue sent at 10h42 PM PST. A series of numbers were tagged under the map:
835-1025 / 975 -1153, 670-1009 / 869-975-1188-1153-1207 / 1188-1009 / 1011-1207-861 / 670-991-1153
@523 kindly sent me the map he created to solve the clue and find the word to add at the end of WIHIS url. Each number corresponded to a point in the map. To obtain the first letter, you had the trace a line between 835 and 1025:
Repeating the same operation with each series of numbers, you then obtained that victim.
When put in the right order, the six letters formed the word:
WIHIS coordinates revealed that the location was San Francisco and the prize was a big square. The picture was accompanied with a quote from the book:
It’s the end Lisbeth abilities’ description through Dragan Armansky’s eyes (Lisbeth’s ‘boss’):
So we guessed that the big prize was Lisbeth-related.
Now usually, once you’ve found the hidden word and you’ve been on location, you have to find the ‘second clue’, usually a razor blade envelope with a note telling you where to go to recuperate the package. But this time, MTW twitted:
From that point, I don’t know what happened, where the hunters went, how far it was and if there was a third clue but ultimately the package was found by A. Baber and turned out to be Lisbeth’s helmet:
LAS VEGAS
Half an hour after the San Francisco clue was posted on MTS, another picture appeared, the mysterious clue #14 strangely revealed after the #15, but turned out to be a flower:
Under each head are two letters: LS – EE – BVS – IE – BR
Once again they had to be put in the right order to obtain bible verse and unlock the WIHIS page revealing that the location was Las Vegas. The story remains short here, the flower was found, but no name nor picture has been uploaded yet and actually, I don’t know if a technical glitch happened only on the Las Vegas page, but there is nothing to see but that:
No grid, no map, nada.
THE GRID
The gris is filling up, and with Lisbeth’s helmet on it, it certainly feels like we are getting close to the end, but that’s just there’s still almost twice as many prizes to be found. (17 found for 32 remaining).
