How To Go Experimental With a GoPro and a Drill…
Since Solipsist, last week, experimental videos have captured my interest.
Instead of making a normal movie, I am trying to get a colour gradient of what the camera is shooting. There is no post production involved, the effect is achieved by connecting the lens of the camera to a drilling machine. The video is taking 30 frames per second, whereas the drill is spinning at more than 30 turn per second.
Here is what he got with the GoPro:
Lhermitte first shot a video back in 2010 using a drill and a ‘simple’ digital camera, shooting at 15 fps while the drill was making 20 turns per second.
