3 Lessons Learned So Far Making In Five Years (Film Log #15)
The Film Log is a weekly video I record to share my journey making my first feature film, In Five Years. In these videos, I share what I learn and discover as I go about all aspects of being a first time indie filmmaker in today’s changing landscape. You can find the full Film Log series here, and you can subscribe to the film’s newsletter
3 Lessons Learned So Far Making In Five Years
It’s been fifteen weeks that I’m officially spending a good chunk of my time working on my feature film, In Five Years, and on releasing an episode of the Film Log. It felt like the right time to look at what I’ve learned, from my experience in the trenches, but also from what I am learning as I keep curating content on the site.
Even though the goal remains the same: learning about filmmaking and storytelling, the process of seeking and curating knowledge for the site has a whole new impact now that I can apply that said knowledge (or wisdom) on a very practical project.
Which is why the lessons and stories I share in the video below come from my trenches as well as from the echo of other trenches.
