Working on the Film’s Poster with an Agency When You Don’t Have a Film (The Film Log #17)
The Film Log is a weekly video I record to share my journey making my first feature film, In Five Years. In these videos, I share what I learn and discover as I go about all aspects of being a first time indie filmmaker in today’s changing landscape. You can find the full Film Log series here, and you can subscribe to the film’s newsletter
Working on the Film’s Poster with an Agency When You Don’t Have a Film
After a little hiatus due to low news and a high level of work, I’m happy to share with you news in several departments this week, including working on the Film’s Poster. It’s an interesting process to work on creating a visual for a story that doesn’t have any locked element yet.
Because some of the elements we know about -the story takes places in Istanbul, the main character is French etc.- could easily be used for the visual, the only problem is: they are important details in a bigger story. And by that I mean that they are not what matters most if you needed to sum up the story in two sentences.
To be continued in the video below, along with two more news to be discovered!
