First Impressions From Cannes (Film Log #19)
The Film Log is a weekly video I record to share my journey making my first feature film, In Five Years. In these videos, I share what I learn and discover as I go about all aspects of being a first time indie filmmaker in today’s changing landscape. You can find the full Film Log series here, and you can subscribe to the film’s newsletter
First Impressions From Cannes
I could only stay a little under 3 days, while Muge is still there, using her shoes and running from one meeting to the next, but those 3 days were a great first taste of what happens in Cannes, and what to expect.
This episode of the Film Log was shot the last day in Cannes, between two respirations, and it’s about the first impressions along with what we did to prep for Cannes. Next week should be more detailed, and hopefully by then i’ll have some news about In 5 Years.
While in there, I also gave an interview to Le Blog du Cinema, it’s a french Blog, so granted, everybody can’t read it, but if you’re French, francophone or francophile, here is a chance to read more about topics I haven’t necessary mentioned yet. A big thank you to Thomas Coispel for his great interviewing skills!
