Locarno Film Festival = Impressive Organisational Machine (The Film Log #26)
The Film Log is a weekly video I record to share my journey making my first feature film, In Five Years. In these videos, I share what I learn and discover as I go about all aspects of being a first time indie filmmaker in today’s changing landscape. Find the full Film Log series here, and subscribe to the film’s newsletter
Locarno Film Festival = Impressive Organisational Machine
This past week has been a crazy one, to say the least. The world is exploding faster and faster and the two main zones that I’m connected with (France and Turkey) have been under the thunder.
And whether you want it or not, whether you care or not about everything happening around us, if you are making a feature film that is not a DIY one, your film depends of what’s going on politically, financially, artistically.
I shot the Film Log three days ago but couldn’t sit to edit and upload it until today. Locarno Film Festival is in less than two weeks now -hard to believe really, with everything that’s been going on, but thanks to their extraordinary machine, the excitement is still building up.
